Questions about referring
How does Charter AI know my colleague came from me?
When your colleague clicks your link, their browser remembers your referral for 30 days. The first referral link they click wins: a later click on someone else's link does not replace yours. If they sign up within those 30 days, the referral is yours.
Which plans count?
Any paid plan counts. The reward is for your colleague's first payment only, so renewals do not earn again. Add-on packs and extra seats do not count.
How much do I get, and when?
₹1,000 flat for each colleague who subscribes. It is paid by UPI at the beginning of the following calendar month, once at least 45 days have passed since your colleague's payment.
Is there a cap on how much I can earn?
No. You get ₹1,000 for every colleague who subscribes, however many that is.
How do I get paid?
Once a reward is queued, a UPI section appears in Settings, under Refer and earn. Add your UPI ID there. After saving it, you can change it twice.
What disqualifies a referral?
Referring yourself, the same UPI ID on two accounts, a refund or chargeback within 6 months of the payment, and any collusion to earn rewards. A disqualified referral is not paid.
Who can refer?
Any Charter AI user, including anyone on the free trial. You do not need a paid plan to earn.

What does my colleague get?
One extra month on their first paid term, on any plan. There is no cash for your colleague; the ₹1,000 goes to the person who referred them.
